Outreach

We are committed to serving both the local community and world. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is relevant in any time, place or culture. We are called to be its hands and feet.

McKenzie Count Food Pantry is open the first Tuesday of the month from 5-7 pm and third Tuesday of the month from 2-4 pm. CrossPoint Church is committed to manning the event every month on the first Tuesday, from 5-7.  For more information or to join this ministry, click here!

Bakken Oil Rush Watford City Outreach provides families in need within the Watford City community with much needed clothing and housing items.  CrossPoint Church partners with this ministry providing "sort" help every Thursday.  Call the church office at 701-444-2355 to get involved!

Feed My Starving Children is a Christian nonprofit dedicated to providing nutritious meals to children worldwide.  FMSC meals are handpicked by volunteers and sent to an incredible network of partner organizations who distribute them to those in need.  CrossPoint partners with FMSC every year at the local Watford City event.  The next packing date is March 15-16, 2019.  For more information, to donate or volunteer, click here.

CrossPoint also partners with The Salvation Army to help provide emergency assistance to those in need in our community.  We make regular contributions to the organization as well as participate as a church each year in Ringing the Bell around Christmastime to bring in additional funds to help the community.

In the spring, CrossPoint Church sponsors a "Flower Planting" Project for the folks at Hillside Court Apartments.  See the recap video below!

Global Missions

Faith Revealed

CrossPoint church supports Faith Revealed, a non-profit organization which provides missionary support and resources to developing countries.  In November of 2018, we raised $1,000 and brought in donations of small toys and items to send down to Nicaragua with Faith Revealed to provide "Christmas in the Mountains" to families in need.  The church is planning a mission trip to Nicaragua in January of 2019 with the purpose of helping local, rural churches with much needed projects.

Haiti
We also have a heart to send support and missions to Haiti through Global Partners. In past years several teams have gone down to help churches rebuild in their communities after the devastating earthquake of 2010.

In October 2010, one team worked to clear away rubble and lay the ground work for Fond-deux Wesleyan's new building.

In February 2012, a second team helped in the building of multiple churches in Port-au-Prince .

We sent a team in March of 2013 to work with a hospital and orphanage on the Haitian island of La Gonave. The team had the opportunity to interact with the children as well as aid in building the hospitals new addition.

In the fall of 2016, we sent a team to Haiti to explore our future opportunities as we seek to work alongside the local ministries in the area.

We continue to thank God for the work He is doing in Haiti!

For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.
